Holme Apartments

In 2017, we worked with Cbus Property on a new development designed by John Wardle Architects.

To begin, we strategically positioned the project as an exemplar of residential Collingwood living. With consideration of our audience, and its unique island site, we created the name ‘Holme,’ an old English word for a small island found in a river.

To tell an authentic narrative of Collingwood, we called on a community of exemplary local creative practitioners Lou Weiss (Broached Commissions), Josh Murphy (The Builders Arms Hotel), Troy Wheeler (Meatsmith), Nicola Stein and Dianne Tanzer (This Is No Fantasy), and Katie Marx (Florist) to share stories of their practice and their connection to home. This approach was then realised across the identity, display suite and activations, campaign, messaging, print, still and moving images.

For us, this project wasn’t simply about selling apartments, it was about finding a way to connect the architect and developer’s vision and then bring it to life. It was about distilling the essence of Collingwood, sharing an honest representation of what we believe makes the suburb so unique, and reminding us of the feeling of home that’s so specific to us all.
